It’s ALL ABOUT ME!

I was telling Jimmy about my plans to go to a corn maze this weekend. Specifically a haunted cornmaze. Jimmy said “corn mazes are few and far between, how do you find one, much less one that is haunted?” Well, corn mazes are very big in this area — there are several of them around every year and most farms ‘haunt’ them during the weeks right before Halloween. This is actually the first year I’ve gone to one — we are going to the White Farms maze. Here’s an aerial shot of the maze, just to give you an idea of what it’s like:

Update: If you are a teenager or a young kid, you would really enjoy this, however, for the average almost-40-year old, it was rather lame. Fun, but lame!

Enough is enough. Pay close attention to the statement that reads Wal-Mart Chief Executive Officer Lee Scott said earlier this year that he expects zoning laws to get tougher in the years to come, so Wal-Mart is eager to ramp up expansion now.

I did some cleaning at Daddy’s house in advance of Jimmy’s visit this week. So, Jimmy, the throne is sparkly clean and ready for your keister when you arrive! Ah, what one won’t do for a Glory Child!

If you are a place kicker or know a place kicker who can actually kick a football through the uprights, please let Auburn know because they desperately need one. Desperately.

There are some scary visitors at my house. They just appeared. Out of nowhere! Actually, Jennifer and Kelly (aka Guy Kelly) carved these cool pumpkins. I think they did a really good job!

I still can’t help but wonder if these are visitors from Jennifer’s transition to The Dark Side. You be the judge

It’s Monday and that means I’m tired. It seems that the older I get, the younger I act! We went bike riding with some friends Friday night and didn’t get home until after midnight. We rode for a while, then built a fire on the banks of the river and sat and talked. It was relaxing and fun.

Saturday I got up early and went car shopping with Daddy. We spent the afternoon watching football, and then listened to Auburn win! I went home around 9:00 and was tired. Around 10:00, Sue and I got on the phone and talked and laughed until 2:30 in the morning!!!! 2:30! We got so tickled at some of the items for sale on Ebay. I was laughing so hard that I kept thinking I was going to wake the family! Want to buy some old Christmas light strings with no lightbulbs? I know right where to send you. Sunday morning, we got up and went to church and then went out on the boat. I went to bed at 9:00! I was totally exhausted.
