The Culmination of 12 Years
Tonight was Christopher’s graduation. What he’s worked toward for the last 12 years. Some years were better than others, but in the end, it was all worth it. I was so proud as I watched him march in with his class and prouder still as he crossed over to receive his diploma. I couldn’t help but wonder where the years had gone. It seems like only last year that I was graduating — am I really old enough to have my baby graduating? Memories flooded back to me as I watched all his friends — the ones he’d known since t-ball — graduate with him. I wondered where they would end up. Will their paths cross again? Graduation is a terrific event — a huge milestone in the life of a young adult. I hope Christopher will continue to work hard on his studies at college and pursue his every dream.
(note: The settings on my camera were incorrect at times, so some pictures didn’t turn out very well. The ones of him actually receiving his diploma are too dark to see. I hope Aunt Gay got some good shots.)
