Jennifer emailed me pictures of the pumpkins she and Kelly did this year. I wish she had lit them and taken their pictures like last year! Anyway, it sure looks like they did a good job. I bet they had fun!

It’s that spooky time of year again. Last year, I was a witch. Jim and I went to a Halloween party last night. I went as a go-go girl! JIm went as a hippie, but since he wouldn’t put the entire costume on, I didn’t take his picture.
Jimmy is in town to attend a simulation conference. After the conference ends tomorrow, I will pick him up and take him to Daddy’s house where he will spend the weekend. I invited Jimmy to go bowling with my work group tonight, and he accepted.
Before we hit the lanes, Jimmy and I had dinner at Chili’s. It was very nice. We had some kind of dip that he recommended as an appetizer (it was wonderful!), and we split nachos. I thought they were both good, but the dip was the best.
Jimmy told me in advance that he might just bowl a game or two and then go back to the hotel and catch the latest episode of “Lost” (his new favorit show). We got to the bowling alley and I introduced him to everyone. We bowled the first two of three games and had a good time. I saw him looking at his watch and I asked him what time it was. He said “screw ‘Lost’, I’m staying.” I think he had a good time and I’m really glad.
For me, I had a great time spending the evening with my big brother! Oh, and — for the record, Jimmy beat me even though I had more strikes than him!!!
Jennifer is 252 months old today. It’s hard to believe that my little baby is 21! What’s scary is that she’s turning legal age at one of the major party colleges in the US! YIKES! This is her first birthday that I haven’t spent with her. Sniff, sniff!

When I came home from work today, Jim pointed out something interesting in our driveway. While we were at work, someone took something and marked a HUGE “X” in the gravel. It’s very interesting and very big. I wonder what it means! Is someone going to come back tomorrow and start digging? If so, I hope they don’t hit paydirt until I get home so I can get my cut (100%)!!!
