Not my family! Jennifer’s and Kelly’s almost family. They went and adopted a little black lab puppy. He’s the sweetest little thing! His name is Dakota!

That’s the cost of repairing the bumper of Christopher’s car. Christopher went to Walmart last Sunday night. While he was in the store, someone whammed his car. There was a witness and the security cameras caught it, but the driver left. Nothing good comes from shopping at Walmart.

Every year on this date, I am reminded of the tornadoes that blew threw the area. As I remember, I was terrified that night. I do remember Daddy being outside and I was scared that he wouldn’t make it back into the house. He took me outside and as we stood at the corner of the house, he pointed to an area in the sky northwest of us and told me that was where the tornado was. That did little to calm my 8 year old fears! The wind was blowing so hard that I really thought it would carry me away. Silly me — Daddy would never have let that happen to me. That was truly a frightening night that I didn’t get over soon (obviously!). Jimmy drew a picture (in blue crayon) and hung it in the pantry (where we went during tornadoes) that said something about keeping calm. It seems it was a donkey. A donkey standing by a fence. That picture stayed there for years as did my fear of tornadoes.
