Today is a great day! Why, you ask? Because forty years ago today (yes, forty) the world was given the gift of me! What better reason to celebrate!!!! The entire world should celebrate!
I got to work this morning and my work friends paid to have the ‘You Old Buzzard’ signs put out by the front entrance. It is complete with the sign that says “Leigh Ann is Forty”. When I got to my office, it had been decorated with black balloons, black streamers, black and silver confetti (that I will probably never get cleaned up), a bunch of 40’s hanging from the ceiling, and a blinking ‘The Big 40′ pin. Yes, I’m wearing the pin! Next, I checked Jimmy’s blog, and there is my birthday wish from him! (Thanks, Big Brother!)
It’s going to be a great day!
Update: I just checked Sue’s blog and found a nice birthday wish from her! Kay emailed me a nice birthday wish. Sure wish she would get a blog! Gay, Jessica, and Ann all sent me email birthday cards! I got cards in the mail yesterday from Patti and Betty. Teresa, my friend at work, gave me a bicycle basket and a boa!!! I’m going to wear the boa and my blinking pin at lunch today. Or maybe I’ll just wear it all day!
